Do you enjoy playing live shows or working in the studio more? And why?
I think im more of a live guy, a good gig with good audience response is fantastic, we did some records back in the 80:s and HFMC..s recording is the first record production for me in a while.
What’s a typical day in the studio like?
With HFMC..s recording we all play together in the studio recording the drums, bass and rhythm guitars. We did that to get some live feeling, I think its more common nowadays to record each instrument separately. A typical day: you wake up at 8.00, take a shower, eat breakfast, go to the studio at 9.00. get all your equipment in shape, you decide which song to play, rehearse the tune a couple of times. Then you start record. Sometimes you got it on the first take other times you have to take 4 -5 times. With this HFMC recording it was most important to get the drums right, everything else can you do overdubs later. I have some bass lines to make some overdubs with and some octave bass to.
What has been your greatest professional moment so far?
That’s a hard question to answer because I have been playing since 1979 in so much different constellations but one cool moment were when we recorded our second album with Spellbound in London 1985 for six weeks with producer Vic Maile who was a famous producer at the time. I think I have make thousands of gigs since then with audiences from 30 people to thousands.

Its Hasse who write the music and the lyrics in HFMC. Until now he has a complete song he presents to us and we rehearse that. We had not done something like this together since the time in Spellbound so I was very glad that Hasse asked me and said yes directly, Ola Strandberg was also in Spellbound and I know and also been playing with Kjell Haraldsson. Anton Lindsjö was a new friendship for me, a great guy and a fantastic guitar player.
